AACI has an opportunity for anyone looking to support local refugees and asylees in their Center for Survivors of Torture (CST).AACI is a community health organization serving the marginalized communities in Santa Clara County. CST is looking for a  Refugee Support Specialist to provide a wide range of services to clients in order to promote self-reliance, recovery, and community acculturation. Services include support, advocacy and community outreach.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a BA/BS degree
  • Has extensive knowledge of community resources and support.
  • Is experiences in working with diverse ethnic background and language groups.
  • Is Bilingual: Fluent in at least one of the languages that the refugee population in Santa Clara County speak (Arabic, Amharic, Burmese, Bosnian, Chinese, Dari, Farsi, Punjabi or Hindi, Tigrinya, Vietnamese).
  • Has a valid CA Driver’s License, vehicle for agency travel and current automobile insurance.
