About Job 

The Community Support Advocate is responsible for providing client-defined, culturally responsive advocacy to survivors of gender-based violence including domestic violence and human trafficking. This position provides multilingual community education, provides trainings on the intersection of domestic violence and health issues, and builds relationships with community partners.

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, behavioral sciences, other related fields or equivalent working experience.

  • One year of professional experience in the field of gender-based violence, and one year of experience in a professional office environment, preferred.

  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements around client information. 
  • Fluent and able to provide all services in an Asian language or Spanish and English, preferred
